Climbing For All Training

This course is a national CPD module in partnership with the BMC and Mountain Training. Learn adaptive climbing techniques, approaches and technical hoisting systems that can be used indoors and outdoors. 

We run this training both as an open course at Climbing Walls across Scotland or as private bookings for outdoor centres and organisations.

  • Overview of physical and learning impairments
  • Side Support Climbing
  • Communication Approaches for Sensory Impairments
  • Use of Adaptive Harnesses
  • Vertical Hoists
  • Wheelchair Abseils
  • How to plan an inclusive session

Prices

£25 per person for our open courses

- Friday 10th January, the Ledge, Inverness

- Friday 17th January, UHI Perth Sports Complex

£600 for private bookings of up to 12 people

This course can be combined with any of the other training courses we have on offer. Most centres and organisations like to book the Paddle- Ability course alongside the Climbing For All training.

We can offer discounts for any centres or organisations wishing to book two or more workshops. Please get in touch to discuss these prices.
