Duke of Edinburgh Award

We are an Approved Activity Provider for the Award, delivering accessible and fully inclusive expeditions and gold residentials. We use a range of approaches and equipment as well as reasonable adjustments and exemptions to make the award available for all students.

The majority of our expeditions take place in the Cairngorms National Park, in three different locations; Aviemore, Braemar and Pitlochry. However as a mobile activity provider we can also provide expeditions further afield across the Highlands. We are open to your ideas and happy to support expeditions in other areas. 

 WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?

  • Knowledge of accessible routes
  • Experience in working with adaptive equipment
  • Staff who can deliver in British Sign Language
  • Range of navigation methods, including photo navigation
  • Access to off road wheelchairs
  • Knowledge of accessible accommodation and campsites
  • Choice of transport; walking or packrafting
  • Supervisors and Assessors

PRICES

£250 per day for one member of staff (maximum of 8 per group)

£140 for an overnight member of staff (maximum 16 per group)

Perhaps you just need an assessor for an expedition you already have planned, or access to an off road wheelchair. We are keen to ensure prices are affordable for all, please do get in touch to discuss an idea/expedition.
