As a Community Interest Company we are always looking for ways to ensure that the costs to disabled people are the same as they would be for able-bodied groups. This means covering the costs of additional staff and adaptive equipment that would otherwise increase the price.
To date we have been supported in our administration set up costs by Firstport and the Shackleton Foundation for our adaptive specialist equipment.
We continue to need support to purchase equipment/renew or maintain and accept donations of equipment and outdoor clothing.
To assist in the delivery of outdoor activities for disabled people we are constantly seeking local volunteers for clubs and sessions. If you are interested in becoming a regular volunteer we offer training in the activities as well as a volunteers specific activity week for those who meet a minimum number of hours. Have a look through our clubs/activities and programs to see if any of these would be of interest to you. You can get in touch through our contact page.
