John Muir Award

With an incredible network of accessible trails, a spectacular ancient woodland and partnerships with local landowners we are well placed to support schools, groups and individuals wishing to complete their John Muir Award.

There is no age limit or time limit for completing this award. Even their website says it is non competitive, inclusive and accessible for individuals, families and groups.

Parts to the award

  1. Discover a wild place
  2. Explore it
  3. Conserve it
  4. Share your experience

Courses may involve tree planting, wildlife spotting and surveys and habitat restoration.

We have links with rangers and wildlife guides from Abernethy RSPB Nature Reserve and the Cairngorms National Park to help design and deliver an experience suitable for you.

Prices are individualised, dependent on the number of sessions. However we try to keep costs to a minimum to make these experiences available to all.

If you would like to discuss a course please email or phone us through the contact page.
